Hello there, Name is here.
In this document (and following series), I will be covering the language Petankian. This document will be available in both English and Japanese, so if you prefer Japanese, you can change it by going to the translation (even though I think I don't need English cuz nobody would even see this so).
Well, what should I write first... This is an intro, right? So maybe why I decided to make this language?
This language was an example language for an another series "How to; make conlang for linguistics beginner feat linguistics beginner". But due to my laziness, it has been discarded. But I liked the language, so I decided to keep working on it.
This language is like a mixture of Slavic and Germanic languages. Originally I wanted to make some really simple auxlang (the reason I made the other series is not only because I wanted more people to be interested in making conlang, I also wanted a simplar example to practice my constracting skills), but I kind of remade this language and made it more organic and now I am trying my best to make it sound like a real natlang.
Eventhough I wanted it to sound like a natlang, I am still keeping some of the simple grammars to practice, so if you really want to learn a minor conlang, this would be a good option (especially if you are familiar with German or Russian).
This is just an intro, I will talk about phonemes or grammars or some other things on other episodes.
