Me tuna warīn badun
K’üvik’üvi yami saxinin

Kawazumansi yerïm lôlô
Lhumomīn asin mazano

Awenna! Tije mawe k’onudo?
Awenna! Löp’e mawe yasami?
Awenna, rup’a!
K’ïjjemîn wadin tïbüsïlhïxï?


The sun is born from the ocean
And it dies beyond the mountains

I see life, flourishing
The hawk is calling me

Answer me, why does time flow?
Answer me, why does the moon wax and wane?
Answer me, wind,
Was it not you that gave me wings?


太陽が海から生まれ
山並みの向こうに死ぬ

私には見える 溢れるいのち
鷹が私を呼んでいる

答えよ なぜ時はめぐるのか
答えよ なぜ月は満ち欠けするのか
答えよ 風
私に翼を与えたのはお前ではなかったか
